Adventure Tips

Bring polarized sunglasses

Polarized lenses reduce glare from the water, making it easier to spot birds and marine life during your kayak tour.

Check the tide schedule

High or low tides can dramatically change water levels and access; plan your paddle around favorable tides for easier navigation.

Wear insect repellent

Mosquitoes and biting insects can be active, especially near marshes; apply repellent to stay comfortable on the water.

Use biodegradable sunscreen

Protect sensitive coastal ecosystems by choosing reef-safe sunscreen to avoid contaminating the water.
