This course offers a unique opportunity to learn how to assist individuals with various disabilities in the water. Through hands-on training and empathy education, you'll enhance your skills while mastering the use of a Full Face Mask, making it an enriching experience that promotes inclusivity and understanding.
During this course, you are trained on how to work in the water with people who are blind, amputees, paraplegic, and quadriplegic. You also receive empathy training through the online learning and classroom portion for different cognitive disabilities. You will build on the skills you learned during the ADB training, add challenge skills to each impairment training, and start training in the use of the Full Face Mask.
Ensure you are comfortable with Full Face Masks before participating.
