4 Hours and 30 Minutes
Dive the Jupiter Wrecks with Scuba Works. Conditions permitting, we dive this site the 3rd Saturday and the 4th Sunday every month. The Jupiter Wreck Trek, also known as the Zion Train, is an area just north of Jupiter Inlet and is made up of 3 wrecks that lay in 95ft. Your drift begins with a drop over debris and anchor line that leads you to the Zion, the stern 1/2 of a small freighter resting on its port side. Your dive continues as you make your way North towards an upside-down barge known as the Miss Jenny. Leaving the Miss Jenny on a bearing of 350 degrees (just follow the rebar) you intercept the Eso Bonaire, a fully upright freighter and the largest of the 3 wrecks.
We require that you have your own EAN certification as well as advanced experience to do this dive
There is plenty of wildlife to see on this dive including lemon sharks and goliath grouper if you go during the appropriate seasons. In addition to the goliath grouper activity, the wrecks also attract hammerhead sharks bull sharks, spotted eagle rays and numerous other larger aquatic life.
Dive 1 of this two-tank trip is at this site. Dive 2 is on one of many reefs in the area. The second dive is based on conditions and season. Often times we hit popular sites like Capt. Kirls, Tunnels, Lighthouse and Loggerhead.
