About This Adventure

Learn essential techniques for cleaning climbs, rappelling, and mitigating risks while enjoying a small group setting. Are you lead climb and belay certified inside and ready to venture out? If so, this is the course for you! We will teach you how to apply your skills to real rock, as well as how to clean climbs after you lead them and how and when to rappel.

Topics Include:

-Review lead climbing and belaying best practices -The differences between gym and outdoor climbing -Ways to mitigate risk and avoid hazardous situations -Site Selection -Leave No Trace for climbers -Equipment selection and it's use -Better lead belaying -Building quick-draw anchors -Cleaning sport routes via lowering and rappelling
