Adventure Tips

Check Tide Schedules

Fishing success in the inshore waters depends heavily on tide timing; plan your trip around moving tides for optimal activity.

Wear Sun Protection

The exposed waterways offer little shade; bring a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen to stay protected.

Bring Light Tackle

Using lightweight rods and reels helps feel the subtle bites typical of inshore species.

Stay Hydrated

Even half-day trips can be dehydrating in the sun; pack water or electrolyte drinks for the boat.

Local Insights

Wildlife

  • Ospreys commonly patrol the skies above the estuaries.
