Here are just a few of the dive sites we choose from: • The Sea Tiger: This is the deepest recreational shipwreck in Oahu’s waters at 123ft on sand. With 200ft visibility on ordinary days and a swim-through experience, this wreck offers world-class wreck diving!
• San Pedro: This boat, operated by an illegal fishing company in the 1970s, caught fire off South Point.
• YO-257 and San Pedro: Rich with history, these boats had glory days during World War II and the Korean War. Sunk in 115ft of water with a depth of 90ft for YO-257 and 85ft deep for San Pedro, these double wreck sites are 50 yards away from each other. Waikiki Dive Center offers the most trips to these fantastic sites whenever the wind conditions allow.
• Nashua Navy Tug: This 65-ft-deep, 109-ft-long wreck sits alone on the sand and was sunk in 2012 to form an artificial reef. It is ideal for private bookings as it requires further sea time, and visibility is usually sporadically ideal. Make sure to check the tide chart.
• Ewa Pinnacle: This site features volcanic rocks in lava formations and incredible overhangs. Divers will see hard and soft corals blanket the lava rocks. However, this site can experience unforgiving currents, so it is unable to guarantee a regular visit. A private charter may be flexible regarding wait time and permissible conditions.
• Nautilus Reef: This is a prime location for octopuses and large eels.
• Kewalo Pipe/Horseshoe Reef: Beware of the large schools of barracuda and the largest morays around Oahu. They call this place home.
