Embark on a breathtaking 3-hour hike through the stunning Colorado Rocky Mountains, leading to a picturesque mountain lake and glacier. Afterward, explore the charming Main Street of historic Idaho Springs. Perfect for groups, this adventure combines nature, exercise, and a touch of local history for an unforgettable experience.

Enjoy the beauty of the Colorado Rocky Mountains up close and personal on a short hike (1 mile each way) to a gorgeous mountain lake and snowfield/glacier. On the way back, you’ll explore Idaho Springs, a historic mining town with a super cute Main Street.
The minimum group size is 2 hikers. Private and corporate groups are welcome, we can cater the experience to your preferences.
We can take 12 hikers but we can only drive 4. We encourage hikers to provide their own transportation. We keep our prices low by carpooling.
Mountain weather changes quickly—begin your hike early to complete it before typical afternoon storms roll in.
Temperatures can vary greatly; dress in moisture-wicking layers to stay comfortable throughout the hike.
Carry enough water as there are no refill stations along the trail to the glacier and lake.
The trail includes rocky and uneven sections, so supportive, well-fitting hiking boots are recommended.
Idaho Springs was a historic mining town founded during Colorado’s gold rush era, offering a glimpse into the state’s early frontier days.
Efforts are in place to preserve trail ecosystems and prevent erosion, including controlled group sizes and educating hikers on Leave No Trace principles.
