The Advanced Open Water Course is a continuing education course designed to further the education of a new diver and broaden their knowledge to other aspects of diving. The course consists of 5 adventure dives taking place over 2-3 days. The minimum prerequisite certification is open water or junior open water. The student can choose from various adventure dives but navigation and deep are mandatory. Other options include peak performance buoyancy, fish id, underwater naturalist, wreck, night etc. Before arrival, the student must complete the PADI online E-learning course (to be sold separately).
