Float, Breathe, Repeat: SUP Yoga on Coe Lake
A 90-minute floating flow in Berea’s calmest water—no experience required.
Dawn slips into Berea like a calm breath. Coe Lake holds the light and doesn’t spill a drop—glass-still, patient, inviting. Boards fan out from the dock one by one, anchored in a quiet arc as if the lake itself has arranged the class. You kneel first, toes testing the water’s cool hush, and feel the board say: I’ve got you. The instructor’s voice is steady and close, a shoreline presence even as you drift into the middle of the mirror. Inhale, the lake nods. Exhale, the current barely hums. And with that, the floating flow begins.
Trail Wisdom
Arrive Early and Waiver Up
Sign your waiver 24 hours in advance and be at the shoreline 15 minutes before class to get fitted, briefed, and on the water without rush.
Dress to Dry Fast
Wear quick-drying yoga or swimwear; avoid heavy cotton, jeans, and fleece. Shoes aren’t worn on boards—barefoot is best for grip and balance.
Choose the Right Board
If you’re taller than 6' or over 180 lbs, select a 12' board at registration for added stability during the flow.
Leave Valuables Behind
Phones and valuables aren’t permitted on the water. Secure them in your vehicle and bring only your ID, towel, and water.
