Located in Marion County, Mississippi, Lake Bill Waller is a 168-acre lake renowned for its excellent bass fishing. Managed by the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks, this man-made lake is surrounded by lush forests and provides a tranquil escape for outdoor lovers. Initially built in the early 1970s, Lake Bill Waller was named to honor a famous local Angler. The lake boasts facilities such as a boat ramp, fishing piers, and picnic areas, making it an accessible and inviting spot for both serious anglers and families. The region's temperate climate ensures year-round opportunities for exploration and relaxation. Bass, including record-size specimens, are a significant draw, but the lake also supports populations of crappie, bluegill, and other fish.
