About

Enjoy a 1 hour and 15 minute guided Safari Wagon tour over 900 acres of beautiful Louisiana countryside, complete with 12 ponds and a lake. During the tour you'll come face to face with free-roaming bison, giraffes, zebras, camels, elands, and much more!

Important Information

  • ATTENTION: Giraffes will be kept in their heated barn if the weather is not ideal for their species and their comfort. This may include temperatures below 50 degrees or inclement weather. Our Animal Care experts assess the weather on a day-to-day basis with the safety of our animals as a top priority. They also consider the duration of time it will take to release the Giraffe's from their barn and for the Giraffes to safely return to the comfort of their barn.

  • Times listed are scheduled Check-in times. Arrival at Check-in time gives you time to receive your boarding pass and visit the restrooms before Boarding. Your tour will board 15 minutes after Check-in and depart 15 minutes after Boarding. Anyone arriving after Boarding runs the risk of missing their tour and will be rescheduled based on availability. Tours cannot be held for guests running late. Thank you for your cooperation!

What to Expect

  • For the best experience, we recommend purchasing feed to maximize interaction with the animals. Animal feed can be pre-purchased online to speed up check-in and allow for a contactless experience.

  • Our facility is a free-roaming conservation. Therefore, our animals can roam freely throughout our 900 acres. Our Tour Guides will attempt to get as close as possible to our variety of species. The animals at our facility are not forced to interact with any tour.
