Lac La Ronge Provincial Park

Lac La Ronge Provincial Park is located in northern Saskatchewan, Canada, spanning over 9,300 square kilometers around the lake of the same name. This vast park features a landscape dominated by boreal forest, numerous lakes, wetlands, and rocky outcrops, creating excellent habitat for wildlife such as moose, black bears, wolves, and a variety of bird species. The park's geography is shaped by the Canadian Shield’s rocky terrain, with mixed coniferous and deciduous forest ecosystems. Historically, the area has been significant for Indigenous peoples, including the Cree and Dene Nations, and remains an important cultural and traditional site.
