Fort Fisher 4x4 Beach is located on Pleasure Island, NC. From Wilmington, NC, it's about a 30-minute drive south via US-421 S. Access passes cost $20 (as of June 2025), available at the pavilion before entering the 4x4 area.
Late summer to fall months offer warm weather and manageable crowds. Weekdays tend to be quieter than weekends.
