There are steps on to the City walls, otherwise the walk is relatively flat. Our trips are suitable for adults and children aged over five. Younger children and babies are welcome (free of charge), but please bear in mind there is quite a lot of walking. It’s not practical to take a pram on the castle/city walls, but it’s no problem for us to detour around this section if you do have a pram or buggy.
