Adventure Tips

Dress in Layers

Spring weather in the Sierra can vary dramatically; layering keeps you comfortable throughout the day.

Use Wading Boots with Good Traction

Rivers and streams can have slippery rocks; proper boots prevent falls and improve stability.

Stay Hydrated

Spring air can be dry and physical activity increases thirst—carry plenty of water.
