Witches! It's time for the 10th annual Witches Regatta! Halloween morning at 9:30am. Come dressed as a witch or you may get ditched! We will meet on the NORTH side of the lake Tempe Town Lake Marina. Media at 9:30, witches take flight 10am. Witches are encouraged to wear their best cloak and float the eerie waters of this urban lake.
THIS IS NOT AN ORGANIZED EVENT. Just a meet-up! It's a fun chance to hang out with the best witches in town.
We are NOT offering board rentals this year - you'll have to secure your own before the event. But we DO have T-shirts available for purchase. Please pre-order to guarantee your size!
Make sure your witch outfit can handle getting wet to stay comfortable throughout the paddle.
Tempe Town Lake can get busy on event day, so plan to arrive early to secure parking close to the launch site.
Capture the vibrant costumes and scenic lake views, but use a waterproof case to protect your gear.
Arizona’s desert climate can be dry even in October; drinking water before and after the event is important.
