About This Adventure

Embark on a breathtaking snowmobile adventure through the Coastal Mountains, perfect for beginners. Guided by experts, you'll explore rolling trails and ancient forests, culminating in stunning sunset views. This unique experience blends scenic beauty with excitement, making it an unforgettable winter journey for riders of all levels.

Wilderness Ride Beginner Tour

This tour is specially designed for first time riders. We will introduce you to the sport of snowmobiling in a safe, exciting and informative environment. Once you have completed your orientation, your guide will lead you on a journey through magnificent terrain including old growth forests, and breathtaking views of frozen lakes. Children 12 and under are free.


Duration: 2 hrs (round trip) with approximately 1.25 hours ride time Departure: 11:00am / Other times may be available, please call us. Child (12 and under): Free when riding with an adult driver

Before you ride…

Here in the Whistler backcountry they will bring you to places you would never be able to see. Our snowmobiles have automatic transmissions. A quick riding tutorial from your experienced guides will have you riding with confidence and answer any lingering questions.

  • We have refillable water bottle stations, complimentary lockers, and washrooms (with running water) for you to use during your visit.
  • Tours will run in all weather conditions, unless cancelled by us due to inclement weather.
  • Please wear and bring your winter gear to keep you warm. Winter jacket and pants, goggles, gloves, and boots.
  • Drivers must be a minimum of 16 years old, have a valid driver’s license and have a parent/guardian sign your waiver before driving a snowmobile
  • Children 6-15 require a 19+ chaperone on tour with them, and a parent/guardian to complete their waiver.

All tours are fully guided by professionally trained guides.


For your Protection

Children must be 6 years old, 4’ tall (122 cm) and fit a D.O.T. helmet to ride. You must wear one of our Department of Transportation (DOT) certified and regularly inspected helmets. D.O.T. certified helmets meet or exceed Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 218, the legal requirement for a helmet to be used on public roads. Personal helmets are not permitted.


Small groups are more fun.

On our tours, the ratio of guide to guest is one to five.


All guests are required to sign a legal release of liability waiver.
