Adventure Tips

Dress in layers

Temperatures can dip quickly; wear moisture-wicking base layers and insulated outerwear to stay warm during the ride.

Bring a camera

Snowy landscapes and horses offer fantastic photo opportunities—capture these moments before the sun starts setting early in winter.

Arrive early to acclimate

Spend a few minutes outside the barn to get comfortable in the cold and adjust your gear before the ride.

Watch your step around the barn

Snow and ice may create slippery spots near the loading area—wear sturdy boots with good traction.
