A small colony of Little Penguins call Penneshaw home. Join our friendly guides on a relaxing 60 minute evening walk to search for the world’s smallest (and most adorable) penguins. Be on the lookout for other fascinating wildlife such as Tammar Wallabies and Brushtail Possums. Beach front parking at Lloyd Collins Reserve, a one minute stroll to the Penguin Centre.
We will try our very best to find the little penguins, however there are a few days a year when they cannot be seen in their natural environment (that is the reality of wildlife tours). We cannot promise we will see them, but we can promise we will provide an entertaining tour with interesting facts about the little penguins, and an opportunity for you to learn more about this threatened bird. If your tour happens to be one of those tours that does not see the little penguins, we will offer you the opportunity to come on another tour, free of charge! We do not offer refunds as there are costs associated with operating tours and we want to continue to educate guests, promote conservation, and search for these critters while they are still here!
Important: penguin sightings can be quite low between January- April as most of them are out at sea for longer periods during this time. We will continue tours, but ask that participants expect low number of sightings.
