Monument Valley Sunset Photo Tour Details:

  • If you have been on the sunrise photo tour and cannot get enough of the beautiful photographic locations, this tour is for you!
  • There will be additional locations to photograph.
  • If this is your first tour of the day, you will visit arches such as Sun's Eye, Big Hogan, and Totem Pole with sand dunes in the foreground.

Things to Remember

  • We operate on Mountain Daylight Savings Time. Utah time and Navajo Nation are on same time zone. -Grand Canyon and Page, Arizona are one hour behind Monument Valley time in the summer months. -Grand Canyon and Page, Arizona are on same time as Monument Valley during winter months.
  • Please pay extra attention to time zone and time changes!
  • We start all of our tours from outside The View Hotel lobby in Monument Valley Park. About 100 feet across the parking lot is a sign labeled “Navajo Tours loading and unloading “. That is the meeting place for all tours.
  • Highway 163 runs north and south through Monument Valley. 1/4 mile north of Arizona, Utah state line there is a-roundabout intersection. Turn East. Go 4 miles and you are at the Visitor's Center and The View Hotel. -There is a $20.00 park entrance fee from 1-4 person. Additional $6.00 per person after 4 in a party. -This is a Navajo Tribal park, not a National Park. National Park passes is not valid at tribal parks.
