Description

Archeology, Culture and Nature !. Get ready to enjoy the majestic Archaeological Zone of Tonina (2.hrs), a pre-Hispanic city whose meaning in Tzeltal is "Casa Grande de Piedra". It is a Sacred Space constituted by an artificial mountain of seven platforms, raised on a calcareous hill that dominates an extensive and elongated valley. We will enjoy its views to continue later to Ocosingo and admire the Church of San Jacinto of Poland that dates from the XV century (2 hrs), we will have time to enjoy the surroundings, to later move to El Corralito Waterfall (1.3 hours), near the municipality of Oxchuc, nestled in the mountain, where you can appreciate beautiful views and trails within its natural environment.
