NWWC - Kayaking & Rescue Training is based in Fron‑goch, Wales and specialises in white‑water paddling instruction and water rescue training. The organisation offers a structured mix of technical kayak coaching, safety and rescue skills, raft guide preparation, and accredited first‑aid training. Courses are designed for a range of abilities, from beginners building confidence on grade 2 rapids to candidates preparing for the British Canoeing White Water Leader award.
Course offerings include BC White Water Leader kayak training delivered at the National White Water Centre, REC 16‑hour Outdoor First Aid certification, dedicated White Water Safety and Advanced White Water Safety modules, Confidence sessions on the Upper Tryweryn, Raft Guide Training Courses aligned to International Rafting Federation guidance, and coach development pathways for white water kayak instructors. Each programme combines practical on‑water sessions with scenario‑based learning and relevant theory.
