Embark on an enchanting evening boating experience on Traverse City's West Bay. Our Captain will drop anchor on the bay near the National Cherry Festival's main stage, where you can sing along with the iconic "Weird Al" Yankovic. Don't miss this extraordinary fusion of boating and musical brilliance, promising an unforgettable experience as we join our boating community for a night under the stars.

Bring your own food and drink and have the fun you deserve on the brilliant blue water of the Grand Traverse Bay.

There may be an opportunity to swim, weather and wind permitting.

What to Bring

  • You’re welcome to bring beverages, including alcohol, and food. Your Captain will provide a family sized cooler with ice for your use. (Remember to bring a corkscrew if you plan on popping the cork on your favorite wine)!
  • Please also bring your own cups, plates, silverware and paper products (no glassware is allowed on the boat).
  • Please bring rain gear, swim gear, beach towel, water toys, and appropriate non-skid footwear for boating.

Additional Information

Our "Weird Al" Yankovic Guided Pontoon Charter departs the Delamar July 1st at 7 p.m. If you would prefer to boat on a day other than July 1st or are looking for a private charter, we invite you to contact guestservices@winddancertc.com to discuss options.

Bring Your Own Snacks & Drinks

Since this is a BYOB experience, pack your favorite refreshments to keep the party going on the water.

Wear Swimwear and Quick-Dry Clothes

Prepare to swim in the bay, so clothing that dries quickly will keep you comfortable afterward.

Arrive Early for Boarding

Plan to arrive at least 15 minutes ahead to easily handle check-in and get settled on the pontoon.

Bring Layers for Evening Chill

Evenings on the water can get cool, so bring a light jacket or sweater to stay warm.
