Embark on a thrilling 5.5-hour hike to the stunning Charco Prieto Waterfalls in Bayamón. Experience a medium-level trek through lush landscapes, crossing streams and learning about local flora and fauna. Enjoy a refreshing swim at the waterfall and savor a delicious lunch at a local cafeteria on your return.

We will visit Charco Prieto Waterfalls in the countryside of the municipality of Bayamón. Located in a rural area, we will hike for 35 minutes along a stream that will eventually lead to the impressive waterfall. During the hike the guide will interpret the Flora and Fauna of the area. The challenge level is medium. Participants should bring proper footwear (sneakers or hiking boots) and be willing to get muddy and wet. Bringing a small backpack is good. The group will cross the water at various points of the trek. Once on the waterfall we will take photos and have an swim (optional). On the way back to San Juan we will stop at a local cafeteria for lunch. This adventure has the advantage that the location is only a 45 minute drive from San Juan.
Thank you for choosing us as your tour operator. Remember to wear sports clothing, sneakers with grip, boots Teva/Keen type outdoor sandals. Have your swimsuit underneath your clothing, bring a change of clothing and towels. You will get wet at least to your knees. Remember to eat something for breakfast and bring at least two bottles of water. Do not bring any valuable jewelry that you can lose. Please let us now ahead any particular diet or allergy so we can make the proper arrangements with the cafeteria.
