Guided Hike with a Naturalist
Explore the breathtaking Finger Lakes on a guided 1.5-hour hike, where stunning waterfalls and gorges await. Choose between a leisurely stroll to Taughannock Falls or a more challenging trek through Enfield Gorge. Experience the beauty of nature while learning from knowledgeable naturalists in this unforgettable outdoor adventure.
The Finger Lakes are full of waterfalls or hanging valleys. These geological features are left over from the glaciers and the water that remained after they receded. The rivers had to find a new way to travel. So they carved amazing gorges all over the area. Join one of our naturalists on a 1.5 hour hike. There are 2 different options. Some may not be available year round. Our Taughannock Falls Hike is more of a stroll on a very flat 3/4 of a mile path to the base of the falls and back 3/4 a mile. The Enfield Gorge is a more challenging hike with a number of stairs and inclines through the Enfield Gorge.
For both hikes, you need to meet our guide at the designated park 10 minutes before the start of the hike. Please dress accordingly. Hike will go in rain provided it is still safe. The Enfield hike is not recommended for children under 13 years of age.
