Experience a delightful 2-hour historical morning tea cruise aboard the iconic Wangi Queen. Explore the scenic Karuah River and its historic estates while enjoying freshly baked scones and tea. With captivating commentary on Port Stephens' heritage and stunning views from two decks, this cruise promises a memorable journey through history and nature.

Join us for a 2hr historical morning tea cruise aboard Wangi Queen

Boarding at 9:30am at Longworth Park Jetty in Karuah (on the eastern side of the bridge). The 2 hour tour of the western harbour / Karuah River will take in the historic estate of Tahlee & Carrington, Garden Island, North Arm Cove, Fame Cove & Soldiers Point. On the return trip we will swing by the beautiful rainforest bird sanctuary of Snapper Island.

Commentary on Port Stephen's historical roots will be provided, and we'll be uncovering some heritage gems along the way.

Devonshire Morning Tea

Delicious freshly baked scones served with whipped cream and strawberry jam plus a selection of fresh fruit. Tea included, espresso coffee available to purchase from our cafe on board.

About Us

Wangi Queen is an iconic 1922 heritage-listed timber ferry, originating from Empire Bay on the Central Coast. Designed and built by the Beattie Brothers, Wangi Queen is a rare and beautiful example of early Australian shipbuilding. Constructed from timber handcut from the Watagans Forest, she offer's two decks from which to view the stunning waters of Port Stephens-Great Lakes Marine Park.
