About This Adventure

Embark on a serene kayaking adventure as you paddle through Admiralty Inlet, Port Townsend Bay, or Kilisut Harbor. Experience breathtaking sunset views, spot diverse wildlife, and capture stunning golden hour photographs. With expert naturalist guides, enjoy a unique blend of tranquility and education in this unforgettable outdoor experience.

About

We will paddle Admiralty Inlet, Port Townsend Bay, or Kilisut Harbor as the day transitions to an impressionist painting and illuminates in orange and purple.

  • We will seek out wildlife.

All of our guides are trained and experienced naturalists, with a keen eye for spotting animals and interpreting their behavior. To enhance wildlife viewing experiences, we provide quality waterproof binoculars.



Duration

3 -3.5 Hours Up to 1 hour to be taken up by the gear fitting and orientation.


Location

We will meet at the Olympic Kayak Tours base at Fort Flagler State Park's Lower Campground. https://goo.gl/maps/gJhTapq2vKhsFkM8A Depending on the stage of the currents, the weather, and the group we will either start our trip there or caravan to a different part of the island.

A water bottle, Weather appropriate clothing (including a rainjacket, this is the PNW so you never know. Also layers are great so you can adjust to the temperature, particularly on our night tours it can sometimes get quite cool.) Water shoes or sandals, as your feet will get wet to the ankle.


Please note

Weight and width capacity The cockpits that we sit in are 16.5" across, which is ever so slightly narrower than the average airline seat. In addition to the width issue, the combined weight of the two paddlers per kayak shouldn't exceed about 460 lbs.
