Our 10-mile scenic float trip glides along a relatively calm section of the Snake River inside Grand Teton National Park allowing you to see beautiful forests, seasonal wild flowers and possible sightings of deer, elk, moose, bald eagles, and other wildlife. View and photograph the natural splendor of Grand Teton National Park with the Teton Range as the spectacular background. Our guides also provide fascinating interpretive information about the Geology, History and Wildlife of the Park.
The duration of the float trip is approximately 4 hours from check-in time to arrival back at Signal Mountain Lodge with about 2 hours being spent on the river. the exact time will vary due to river levels and conditions. The minimum age is 6 years old.
Guests will need to check in for the float trip at the Signal Mountain Lodge front desk at least 30-minutes in advance of the trip departure time to fill out paperwork. Once the paperwork is complete, guests meet in front of the Signal Mountain Lodge restaurant building 10-minutes prior to the scheduled departure time. Transportation to and back from the river is provided.
Guests are welcome to bring cameras, video cameras and binoculars. As the mountain weather can be variable, we recommend dressing in layers, wearing comfortable shoes and bringing warm clothes. Rain parkas and life jackets are provided. Other items we recommend bringing are sunscreen, visor/brimmed hat, insect repellant, bottled water, small snacks, gloves and hats.
