The ever-popular “Paddle to the Party” floating parade will start at 10 a.m. A band will escort the parade via barge to set the mood as folks float for a 2-hour paddle parade down beautiful Bayou Teche.
Meet between 9:15 and 9:45am at Poches Meat Market and Restaurant. 3015 Main Hwy # A, Breaux Bridge, LA 70517 to get your reserved boat.
Car shuttle:
You have two choices on how to accomplish having a car at the end of the paddle when you get there:
1). Drop a car at the Park De Ponts Breaux in Breaux Bridge, then drive your second car up to Poches for the put in.
2). Join in on the Festival shuttle by following their directions:
Go park your vehicle at the festival grounds (Park de Pont Breaux) and take the 9 a.m. shuttle bus up to the Poche's put in. So, now when you paddle to the party, your vehicle will be there waiting for you. The shuttle will have a minimal fee of approx $5 to $10 (paid on that day to the shuttle driver or other designated event person).
Pack & Paddle will not be offering any kind of transportation back to your vehicle - so it's important you plan on this to arrive on time for the paddle.
