Experience an exhilarating self-guided rafting adventure on the Hiwassee River! Float back to your vehicle over 5.5 miles, surrounded by stunning scenery. Perfect for all ages, this 2.5 to 4-hour trip promises fun and excitement, but remember to wear proper footwear and prepare to get wet!
Weekdays:
Rafting prices are for one trip down from the drop off point to Hiwassee Outfitters and include gear and shuttle.
Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Please arrive 30 minutes prior to your river rental booking time to make your shuttle time.
For 11 am rentals, please arrive at 10:30 am For 12 pm rentals, please arrive at 11:30 am
After arriving at our outpost a shuttle will take you upstream 5.5 Miles. Please be sure to check in with a staff member to be placed on a shuttle. The weekends and holidays are always our busiest time and we ask that you be patient with our staff. Tube rentals must be on the river before 3:00 PM
Keep all pets on a leash, don't leave them unattended, and clean up after them. No pets allowed on shuttle at this time. Private boat shuttle will not be allowed also because of limited space on shuttles.
Ensure your shoes are suitable for getting wet to prevent slipping and discomfort during the float.
Getting an early start helps secure your shuttle and allows more time on the river.
Bring sunscreen, hats, and sunglasses to stay comfortable during sunny afternoons.
Bring plenty of water to stay refreshed throughout your float.
