The last known ship to bring enslaved Africans into America, the Clotilda rests in the waters of the Mobile River north of the city. Come along with us as we explore this somber but pivotal saga in local history with national significance. This special tour to the wreck site will be guided by Africa Town Freedom Tours. It will provide information on the voyage of the Clotilda, its passengers and their lives, and the enduring legacy of that fateful voyage by telling their stories.

This cruise departs from the Mobile Convention Center. Parking is available at the Convention Center for a modest fee.

Children 4 years and under must have their own life vests per Coast Guard regulations.
