Southport Yacht Club (SYC) in Oxenford, Queensland offers accessible, community-focused sailing experiences for families, children, women, homeschool groups and social sailors. Located on Oxenford Lake, SYC runs a variety of programs that use Hobie catamarans and RS Quest dinghies to teach sailing, build confidence and provide outdoor recreation.

Programs include Family Fun Sailing — a three-hour Hobie catamaran adventure open to all ages with no sailing experience required; Kids Learn to Sail Level 1 for children aged 7–12 taught through games on and off the water; School Holiday Sailing for ages 7–17 with flexible single-day or full-week options; She Sails Oxenford, a women-only introduction to Hobie Wave Catamarans and RS Quest Monohulls; Social Sailing Saturday, an open weekly group session for all skill levels including Hobie Wave and RS Quest (RS Quest subject to prior training); Homeschool Sailing for ages 7–17 with trial sessions available; and shared Sail Boat Hire charters for group fishing trips with a captain.
