Get a hotel pick up, in a comfortable minivan, and we start our drive to Birka to take the commuter boat the last leg to get a feel of the water. In this comfortable small group tour on maximum of 7 people you'll get a guide for yourself and have tie to tour the isle like a pro as the guide knows where to go and what to say rather than get stuck in a big group tour of 50 others coming to the isle. On the Island of Björkö another world is presentet: the world of the VIkings. Venture in to the Viking culture of Sweden's first city. Traces of the city are still left today, of the people who called Birka their home.We'll visit Birka on a shorter trip than from STockholm but save time by going by car and than have a shorter refreshing Artipelago experience on the boat trip to Birka from Strömma. On the isle you got your own expert viking guide with you taking to to all the places the mass of tourist donät get to se cause they go with the big main group who only do a very limited tour guide experience showing what is closes to the visitor centre.
