Experience a unique half-day float on the Illinois River, starting from a private access point. Enjoy stunning scenery, numerous swimming holes, and sandy beaches as you drift back to All American. With options for rafts, kayaks, and tubes, this adventure promises relaxation and fun in nature. Reservations are recommended for weekends.
We drop in at our private access, four miles up the river, and you float back to All American. This is a great half-day float that meanders through some amazing scenery, with plenty of places to pull over and swim. It is all nature, with numerous swimming holes and beaches. Rafts, kayaks, canoes and tubes are allowed on this route.
Please be prepared with plenty of food, drinks and sunscreen.

Age Requirement: At All American, our number one concern is for the safety of you and your family. That being said, children under 3 years old are not able to float with us. It is simply not worth risking the safety of a small child to float the Illinois River. We appreciate your understanding and value your safety over everything.
Last call for this trip is 4pm daily (which is the latest departure anywhere on the Illinois River). Busses for the 4 mile route run from 11:00 am - 4:00 pm daily.
On all trips, we take you upriver, and you float back to us and your car, no waiting on a bus to come pick you up. You can stay out as long as you want (as long as you're back by 7pm) while enjoying the beautiful scenery, amazing swimming holes and pull-off beaches.
Please note that reservations are required for weekends and accepted for weekdays. Please note that we usually sell out on Saturday and Sunday, so plan ahead.
Water shoes help navigate rocky bottoms and protect your feet during the float.
