About

Have a glance at the exciting and rich culture of the Hungarian Jewish community

Walk around the historical Jewish quarter of Pest, one of the most interesting parts of Budapest downtown. During a two hours long private Jewish quarter tour we will introduce you to the engaging world of the Jewish culture of Budapest. We will walk by the Rumbach street synagogue, we can even take you into the Kazinczy street synagogue if you are interested in that. We will tell you about traditions, foods, drinks, holidays and the everyday life of Jewish families. You will hear stories about the golden age, and the darkest period of the history as well. About victims who lost, and heroes who risked everything. The two hours long orientation Jewish tour can end at the Dohany street synagogue. There you can continue discovering the quarter with a guided visit of the so called great synagogue.
