About This Adventure

This tour allows sightseers to experience the infamous light beams at Upper Antelope Canyon and a walking tour to Horseshoe Bend Overlook.

Please note that there are only portal restrooms located at the canyon check-in sites.

What to expect for Upper Antelope Canyon:

  • Check-in on-site at least 30 minutes before your selected tour time
  • Load onto the 4x4 trucks 15 minutes before your selected tour time
  • Arrive to the canyon by your tour time and explore for nearly an hour
  • The Upper Antelope Canyon hike is approximately 1/4 mile and is now a one way traffic through the canyon
  • Upon exiting the canyon, you will hike on an incline up and around the top of the Canyon and descend 150 steps staircase back to the 4x4 trucks
  • Load back onto the 4x4 trucks and return to our van
  • Aboard our van and stop off at Big Lake Trading Post for snacks, souvenirs and restrooms

What to expect while visiting Horseshoe Bend:

  • The Horseshoe Bend has a flat smooth surfaced path and the hike is 3/4 mile to the picturesque Overlook (1.5 miles roundtrip)
  • Expect a 1,000 ft drop looking into the beautiful Colorado river
  • Lastly, after your tours are complete then we will drop you off back at your hotel/AirBnB or accommodations

  • No firearms or weapons
  • No smoking
  • Not wheelchair accessible
  • Cremations of loved ones are not to be disbursed within Navajo Nation Parks

Adventure Tips

Arrive Early for Check-In

Arrive at least 30 minutes before tour time to ensure smooth check-in and boarding onto the 4x4 trucks.

Wear Closed-Toe, Stable Footwear

Bring sturdy shoes without heels or open toes for navigating sandy canyon floors and the Horseshoe Bend path safely.

Pack Light and Leave Backpacks Behind

Bags and backpacks are prohibited inside the canyon; plan accordingly with minimal personal items.

Hydrate and Protect Yourself from the Sun

The desert sun can be intense; use sunscreen and drink the complimentary water provided to stay hydrated.
