This is a family-friendly float for all ages and even the dog! The entire trip is flat water with just a few ripples along the way. There are very few obstacles with great beaches to stop, relax, and sunbathe! This route is 2 miles and is usually about 1 hour of drifting time in August and up to 2 hours in September. To plan your day, add an hour for parking, check in, getting dressed, and riding our van to the launch point.
How does it work? Meet us at our parking area, check in, get dressed, then we provide you with a ride to the river launch point. We drop you in, you float down the river and get out in downtown Leavenworth.
We will provide a ride to the river launch point, a tube, frisbee paddles, a properly sized life jacket and a safety talk.
Protect your feet from rocky riverbeds and slippery surfaces by wearing sturdy water shoes.
Bring a reusable water bottle to stay hydrated during your float, especially in warmer months.
Protect your skin with reef-safe sunscreen to avoid harming the local aquatic ecosystem.
Use waterproof bags or leave valuables in the shuttle vehicle to prevent loss during the float.
