Free diving is an exciting activity that almost everyone can enjoy with the proper equipment and the appropriate training. There is no better place to get introduced to free diving than while in Hawaii. Sessions start usually at 1 p.m. Providing the conditions are intact, we will have class at Shark's Cove, North Shore, Oahu or at Magic Island. I will stay in contact with you for any changes or updates! In this course (2.5 hours), we learn the basics of using a mask and snorkel. The duck dive, finning techniques and streamlining, equalization, buoyancy, and important safety protocols. We review the basics of free diving equipment and then put our skills to the test! We take a short fun dive to explore the area as well. This is an excellent glimpse into the diverse world of free diving and if you are debating a full level 1 certification course, this provides a foundation for basic skills and will get you ready for level 1. Be sure to let us know if you need free dive gear so we can have your size available. Short video clips are included, so be sure to bring your GoPro! There are no line dives or deep dives with this activity.
