Travel back to a time when many of America's cities relied on electric streetcars to make their economy move! You'll climb aboard one of the many unique trolleys from the Rockhill Trolley Museum's vast collection and enjoy a leisurely trip alongside industrial ruins and steep mountain narrows. Along the way, your experienced Motorman will provide running narration about the history of your trolley car and its place in our nation's transportation story.

Throughout the year, the Rockhill Trolley Museum offers an exciting program of special events outside of their regular operation. Often, these events feature special equipment from their collection and rides on seldom-operated cars. These events will be highlighted on the calendar and unless otherwise posted, will operate on the regular schedule.

The Rockhill Trolley Museum has two large buildings that house their collection of trolley cars, as well as a dedicated machine-shop building where dedicated volunteers painstakingly restore this vintage equipment back to operation. Guided tours of these facilities are available upon request. Inquire at the ticket booth for more information.
Closed-toe shoes are strongly recommended when navigating these facilities. Tours require visitors to walk over uneven terrain, including gravel and multiple train tracks.
The East Broad Top Railroad and the Rockhill Trolley Museum strive to be an accessible experience for all; however, special accommodations may be required for those with mobility concerns due to the historic nature of the facilities and equipment.
The Rockhill Trolley Museum has one wheelchair-accessible car in their collection, with access provided by a hydraulic lift.
If this car is available, you will have the option to select "wheelchair" as a ticket type when booking a reservation. Please only select this option for the passenger who will utilize the lift.
To enjoy the best views and comfortable seating, plan to arrive at the museum early before your scheduled departure.
The open trolley cars can get cool, especially in spring and fall, so a light jacket is recommended.
