About

At Tugáh Northern Experiences we strive to give you a personal and special experience by maintaining small group sizes that are individualized to each tour. Dogsledding is very important to Indigenous culture and our family’s sled dogs are very dear to us.

More info

Beginning in our family’s sled dog kennel, you will be able to meet your sled dog team and take pictures with the dogs. The ride continues onto the adjacent frozen lake; climb aboard the cushion seated toboggan for a dog sled ride with a skilled musher. Experience the beauty and peace of the land, on the 15-20 minute run over the frozen lake. Storytelling, pan-fried bannock and hot beverages will be served once your ride is completed in a traditional log cabin heated by a woodstove, with Indigenous artifacts and furs to set the atmosphere of being out on the land.

Please note you may be grouped with other guests during this experience. However, you can book a Private Tour for $175/person, minimum of 2 people.
