At some venues, we'll bring some chocolates and local cheeses to match the wine and keep your tastebuds exploring the flavours of Australia's first wine region.
In addition to all the beautiful wines and hand carfted produce, we also include a relaxed one course lunch with a wine, beer or cider to allow guests to take in the Valley’s charm.

What days do you operate the public Hunter Valley wine tours? Public Hunter Valley wine tours operate daily (excluding Christmas Day, Boxing Day, NYE and NY Day), but are subject to minimum number requirements.
I have allergies/dietary requirements. Will this be catered for? If you have dietary requirements that are generally more common ie lactose intolerant, vegetarian, gluten free, allergic to nuts or shellfish etc, we will advise the restaurant and they will cater to your specific requirements.
If you have requirements that are little more uncommon, please advise us in advance so we can liaise with the restaurant to confirm your requirements.
We will always try our best to cater for all dietary requirements. No request is too big or too small. If you are unsure, please contact us for further details.
PLEASE NOTE: A vegan lunch can be ordered, but the chocolate, cheese and most wine is not vegan. Those on a strict vegan diet CANNOT be catered for on our regular public tour.
What wineries do we go to on a public Hunter Valley tour? With more than 150 wonderful wineries in the Hunter Valley, we like to rotate the wineries that we visit. So if you are taking our tour for a second or third time there's a good chance you'll visit completely different cellar doors. However please ask us if you'd like to know which ones we are visiting on the day of your tour.

Will the Hunter Valley wine tour still run if the weather is bad? Can we reschedule our tour? We are not weather dependent for our tours and therefore will always operate. You are mainly indoors in the warmth and comfort of a winery in the cooler months. In the warmer months, you may have the opportunity to have your wine tasting provided outdoors in the fresh air.
Carry a water bottle to cleanse your palate and stay refreshed during tastings.
Many cellar doors have gravel paths and uneven terrain requiring sturdy footwear.
If not booking with transport included, plan a designated driver or use local shuttle services.
Temperatures can drop after sunset, even in warmer months, so layering helps you stay comfortable.
The Hunter Valley is Australia’s oldest wine-producing region, with viticulture dating back to 1824, shaped by early European settlers adapting to local conditions.
Local vineyards increasingly adopt sustainable farming practices, focusing on water conservation and reducing chemical inputs to protect the region’s delicate ecosystem.
