What To Bring

Your trailhead is located within the Rio Grande del Norte National Monument at 7,000 feet. We recommend bringing:

  • Comfortable hiking boots
  • Layered breathable clothing -Rain Layer
  • Sunglasses and Hat
  • Two water bottles or Camel-pack (water to fill bottles provided)
  • Backpack to stow and carry your belongings
