A driven tour (in a new Mercedes Taxi) will take you to discover the modern Tangier and then take you up to the Northwestern tip of the African continent where the strait of Gibraltar embraces the Atlantic Ocean. Not far from this extraordinary site, the Hercules caves will take you back to the original location of the first people established in Tangier.

Then, the Kasbah gate introduces you to the other Tangier, the Medina with its white-washed houses, small privacy proof windows and narrow alleys. The way will slowly take you to the Kasbah Square and to the sultan’s palace.

Lunch will be served in a local restaurant where you will enjoy traditional arab food and teas. The Medina offers you a good opportunity to shop around; leather, native silver Berber jewelery and hand mad rugs are amongst the most attractive items produced in the country.
