Join the SUP Sea Monsters paddle parade in Bellingham for a festive three-hour coastal paddle past Taylor Dock, followed by an all-ages celebration featuring local brews and trick-or-treating. Perfect for all skill levels and families looking for a unique autumn adventure!

Join us for a thrilling paddle parade to close out the season in costume! Whether you bring your own boat or use one of ours, enjoy a guided group paddle past Taylor Dock. Afterward, celebrate at our all-ages beer garden with trick-or-treating, local brews, and community fun!
This is an open-boating event. Use a CBC paddleboard, kayak or rowboat, or bring your own! Please register even if you are bringing your own boat. Lifejackets will be required, and provided at no extra cost if you do not have one. Costumes loved but not required! We welcome your mermaid, pirate, kraken, ghost, or whatever you find in your closet!
$15 - per person to participate with any type of CBC boat $5 - BYOB (bring your own boat...or broomstick)
Check-in at 1pm, at which point we'll gear up and do our spooky safety briefing. We will have a guide on the water and will paddle out together as a group, parading by Taylor Dock. We will land just before 4pm to allow for gear cleanup, but don't worry, the fun doesn't stop there...
Join us post-paddle in our ALL-AGES beer garden, open from 3-6pm, which will feature trick-or-treating, yummy local brews (beer, cider, NA bevs, and more), and a celebration of our Queer community to wrap up the season! Pop in for a photo at our photo station and stay for a frightfully good time. Wow, paddling AND a post-paddle hangout?! Witch better way to end the season!
All experience levels welcome! All ages welcome! 16 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
Rental boards are available, but securing your own paddleboard ensures comfort and familiarity on the water.
October weather can be variable; wear moisture-wicking layers and bring a waterproof jacket.
Bookings fill fast during this popular event; early arrival eases equipment pick-up and ensures participation.
