Adventure Tips

Bring sunscreen and polarized sunglasses

Sun reflects strongly off the water even on cloudy days, so protect your skin and eyes.

Use the provided wetsuit rental

Even summer days can be chilly on the lake due to elevation; wetsuits keep you warm and comfortable.

Wear water shoes for better grip

Rocky lake edges and paddling stance benefit from secure footing on waterwear.

Start early to avoid afternoon winds

Calmer mornings mean smoother paddling conditions and better chances for wildlife sightings.
