Adventure Tips

Bring Plenty of Water

The desert air is dry and dehydration can sneak up; carry at least 1 liter per person for the 3-hour tour.

Wear Sturdy Footwear

Expect sandy, uneven terrain—closed shoes with good grip keep you comfortable and safe.

Prepare for Temperature Swings

Evenings can get chilly after sunset; bring a warm jacket to stay comfortable during the spotlight safari.

Bring a Torch or Headlamp

Though the spotlight is provided, personal lighting helps when walking to and from the reserve after dark.
