On the way you will get a down to earth narrated trip through Bellingham bay as we head up to the northern end of the San Juan Islands with a chance to encounter some wildlife. You will likely see Seals, Sealions, Porpoise, multiple bird species, and possibly Whales should they be in the area. Once we arrive you can discover the beauty of Sucia Island, an 814-acre state park located in the beautiful San Juan Islands. There’s over 77,000 feet of shoreline to explore that is only accessible by watercraft. Sucia Island has approximately 10 miles of trails that weave beneath the boughs of the beautiful Madrona, deciduous and evergreen trees. The Island is also known for its interesting sandstone rock formations which make for beautiful pictures and incredible viewing. These formations hold the famous China Caves, fossils other picturesque and landscapes that make for an incredible visit while on the island. Low tide can also provide various exposed tide pools, multiple beaches and views that change constantly that only Sucia Island has to offer.
To ensure your comfort during the trip, we provide a cooler with water and various soda’s on the boat. The cabin is heated with seats for 12 passengers and includes a restroom (head).
