This is the extended version of our popular Stornetta Lands National Monument Tour. This 3-hour hike gives guests deeper insight into regional wildlife, birding, history, geology and more. Recommended for guests comfortable walking along natural, sometimes uneven, terrain for 3+ hours.

Spectacular coastal scenery is the backdrop for exploring the hidden gems of this recently dedicated unit of the California Coastal National Monument System. Tour includes Geology, Oceanography, Birding, Local History & more! A real treat of a tour that provides a fantastic overview of the region and it's location allows for a wonderful day full of activities with the iconic Point Arena Lighthouse, restaurants and shops near by.

PLEASE MEET AT THE PARKING LOT OF THE ROLLERVILLE CAFE at the corner of LIGHTHOUSE RD and SHORELINE HIGHWAY 1 (north of the town of Point Arena).

Our weather along the Northern California Coast is usually quite temperate and ever-changing. Please wear comfortable, layered clothing that will keep you warm and protected from the wind or other elements. A comfortable hiking or walking shoe with good traction is required. WE WANT YOU TO BE COMFORTABLE :)
