About

Departing south from Moorabbin Airport, your experienced pilot will showcase the best of the beaches and properties along the Mornington Peninsula, before heading towards Port Phillip Heads.

From there, you’ll fly over the coastal towns of Torquay, Anglesea, Lorne and Apollo Bay scattered along the world-renowned surf coast, Bells Beach. You’ll see the Cape Otway lighthouse, built-in 1848 and is the oldest surviving lighthouse on mainland Australia, as we make our way to the low pass of the famous 12 Apostles.

Returning from the coast, your pilot will take you on a Melbourne City Scenic and Bay Loop, where you’ll see, the City skyline, the Melbourne Cricket Ground (largest stadium in the Southern Hemisphere), the Botanical Gardens, and Albert Park, Melbourne’s Formula One Grand Prix track.

We’ll also fly along the coastal towns of Portsea, Sorrento and Rosebud on the Mornington Peninsula before turning north and heading past Arthurs Seat and Mount Martha before descending back towards Moorabbin.

Throughout the flight, your pilot will point out each of the landmarks and share some commentary over the Bose noise-cancelling headset. You’ll have the opportunity to speak to the pilot and others on flight as well as capture this scenic experience on your phone.

Because we care for your safety and comfort, we only fly modern, premium aircraft at Avia. Each is equipped with the latest technology, a range of safety features, comfortable leather seating and air-conditioning.
