About

Non-powered (No Electricity). The dimensions are 6m long x 3.3m wide. Site 5 is suitable for a small campervan. This non-powered gravel site is a great spot to park up for a night or two, especially with it being one of the closest sites to the toilets, showers, small communal kitchen, laundry and the geothermal pools.

  • Pools begin to drain at 7.15pm and are closed at 8pm
  • Reception Hours are 10am to 7.30pm
  • Check in is 2pm unless you purchase an early check in when booking.
  • Check out is at 11am.
  • Sorry no Wifi Available and cellphone reception is limited.
  • $4 washed and Dryers ($2 coins only). Soap power is available at reception.
  • No dump station on site. Closest is Rotorua.
  • Drying Shed is located near site 12.
  • Absolutely no drones -No pets during public holidays (long weekends) or peak season (1st December - 31st January).
  • All persons must wear swim wear appropriate for public bathing.
  • Children must be actively supervised at all times.

CAFE

  • Open for coffee and hot food from 11.30am - 6pm. Hours are subject to change based on busyness of the complex.
  • Menu available on request.

No smoking or vaping permitted in campground within any part of the complex at any time. Smoking permitted main driveway area only.

Adventure Tips

Arrive Prepared for No Power

Site 5 does not have electricity hookup; bring alternative lighting and power solutions.

Pack Swimwear and Towels

Pools close at 8 PM and swimwear is required, so come ready to take a dip after setting up camp.

Limited Cell Reception

Expect limited phone signal and no Wi-Fi—perfect for unplugging, but plan accordingly.

Close to Shared Amenities

Site 5 is one of the closest non-powered sites to toilets, showers, laundry, and a communal kitchen.
